Susan Barnard has produced a handsome and concise introductory volume on the subject of reptile care. Chapters include: Brief notes on nomenclature, taxonomy, anatomy and physiology; selecting, handling and transporting; the captive environment; feeding and nutritional disorders; health, medical and necropsy considerations; and reproduction and egg incubation.
