The Official 
LOCH NESS MONSTER EXHIBITION

There is still a huge interest in the great "beastie" that reputedly
dwells in Scotland's huge and mysterious long loch. The Official
Loch Ness Monster Exhibition tries to be objective in answering
visitor's questions. The center sits on Urquart Bay's north shore,
opposite the famous castle ruins. There is a comfortable hotel,
restaurant, gift shops, and the "miniature" of the loch, complete
with moving Nessie (below). The little lake is also a mass egg-
laying site for the native toad, and its shoes often team with the
small black tadpoles.

    The centerpiece is the exhibition building, which provides a
series of Disney-like dioramas presenting the history, myths,
and actual exploration results of the Loch and its investigators.
This is an excellent museum that remains true to scientific
methods and inquiry. Don't expect any final answers, though...
Nessie remains a big mystery!
