Range: Fiji Islands.

Diagnosis: A bright green lizard with broad white to pale blue bands on the body and tail; dorsal spines short; nostril scale is yellow.

Reproduction: Lays eggs which are buried in pits dug by the females.

Additional Comments: This magnificent lizard is in serious danger of extinction as its habitats are destroyed by humans.
