Range:
Limited to the Ukinga region of Tanzania,
East Africa.
|
Diagnosis:
An armadillo lizard with short head and blunt
body keels, a conspicuous black oval on each side of the neck that reaches
to the shoulders, and white lips and throat.
|

Description:
|
|
Natural History:
Largely unknown. Most data about this species
has come from captive animals. They are diurnal insect eaters found on
trees. They take shelter under bark and in holes in the trees.

Live bearing.
