George III silver Proof Pattern "Fullerton" 1/2 Crown 1799 PR65+ PCGS, St-31a. Coin alignment. Engraved by J. Milton and struck by Matthew Yound for Colonel Fullerton. A formidable example of this unadopted pattern type bearing the bust of the Price of Wales, the future King George IV. Well-preserved for this elusive issue, with pastel tone decorating the obverse and a fluid shimmering luster displayed across the reverse fields.
