A gilt lacquered wood figure of Buddha Dipankara. 18th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, both hands in vitarka mudra, the right hand raised, the left hand held parallel to the body. Spiky snail-like curls cover the head and ushnisha, the cintamani jewel replaced by a wooden pin. The outer robe (uttarasangha) covers both shoulders, the undergarment is tied together at the waist. The eyes painted white and black, the ornamentation of the throne is rendered in applied putty covered by lacquer, the base is closed with a trapezoid wooden board, silk fabric visible in the crannies indicating votive offerings inside. The right hand restored, the head possibly restuck.

In dhyanasana sitzend, auf einem doppelten Lotossockel, beide Hände in vitarkamudra, die rechte ist angehoben, die linke ist parallel zum Oberkörper gehalten. Spitze, sich schneckenartig einrollende Locken überziehen den Kopf und ushnisha, das cintamani-Juwel an der Spitze ist durch einen Holzpflock ergänzt. Das Obergewand (uttarasangha) bedeckt beide Schultern und fällt in weichen Falten über den Körper, wobei das zusammengebundene Untergewand unterhalb der Brust sichtbar ist. Die Augen weiß und schwarz bemalt, die Ornamente am Sockel sind mit einer Modelliermasse geformt und aufgetragen. Die Unterseite ist mit einer trapezförmigen Holzplatte verschlossen, in den Ritzen sind Seidenstoffreste zu sehen, Hinweise auf Weihegaben im Inneren. Rechte Hand rest., Kopf wohl wieder angesetzt.
